Project Type: art direction

Gabriel’s Alliance

Gabriel’s Alliance provides training and support for autistic employees +  companies. They bridge the gap between workers and companies for an underserved and underemployed community.

They wanted vivid and engaging brand imagery but didn’t want to show specific candidates or companies.

Using blurred carnival photography, KGA created an abstract, high energy visual library. We then used typography to highlight interesting statistics about neurodiversity.

The palette is bright and lively, but darker hues convey the company’s position as a reliable trailblazer in an emerging industry.

Mindpeace

MindPeace, at the Institute for Behavioral Medicine, is committed to providing the best therapy to individuals of all ages, races, genders, orientations, faiths, abilities, and incomes.

Appealing to a wide demographic, KGA provided a soothing, calm look using serene + natural photography. The images were retouched to add vivid color pops as well as interesting graphic elements.

The project included: brand; logo; business cards; website design + programming

Fight for Children

Fight for Children is a non-profit doing charitable work for underprivileged children in the DC area.

2016 brought a transition to Fight for Children and KGA was tasked to keep the annual report as brief as possible. All extraneous material was removed from the clean and concise book.

In lieu of the info-graphics from 2015, colorful student artwork was featured and darker blue hues were used to differentiate the piece from the previous year.

Fight Night

Fight for Children is a non-profit doing charitable work for underprivileged children in the DC area. Generating millions every year, Fight Night is Fight for Children’s biggest and most important fundraising event.

Instead of sports stats, we featured philanthropy stats + quotes from the organization’s founder. We used a grunge treatment to intermix the photography of the fighters with images of the children benefitting from this aid.

This project entailed event graphics + signage; brochures; menus; posters; walkway graphics; step-n-repeats; VIP passes; bar decals; column wraps; print ads; email blasts; t-shirt designs; credentials; stage graphics; on-screen graphics.

Amalgam Fitness

Amalgam Fitness blends health and fitness expertise with innovative technology to create a program tailored precisely for each individual client.

They wanted to differentiate their brand from the parent company, Snap Fitness. KGA took cues from the Snap brand, but understood the client a preferred brighter, more vivid visual library. The images were manipulated + retouched to provide a more exciting aesthetic throughout the site.

Fight for Children

Fight for Children is a non-profit doing charitable work for underprivileged children in the DC area. They needed an annual report but wanted to keep the page count + costs down without sacrificing design or quality.

We created a series of icon-centric info-graphics to convey the information in a condensed + interesting way. The use of clean, white space elevates the design and the colorful images depict the children benefited by the efforts of the non-profit.

Amtico Flooring

Amtico is an international company which produces flexible, durable and sustainable designer flooring.

Amtico was looking to improve their customer web engagement. They wanted a streamlined user interface, the addition of a shopping cart for floor samples, + a creative inspiration gallery.

UI/UX (user interface/ user design) played a large role in our design and that ease of use resonated with the client’s market. Clean photography and simplified navigation allowed us to create a robust + engaging interface while maintaining a visually appealing aesthetic.

Sigvaris / Click

Click Graphics asked KGA to design an employee benefits brochure for Sigvaris. The task was to provide critical healthcare insurance information but keep the design fun + inviting.

A sunlit lens flare treatment was added to the photography to achieve a feeling of warm contentment. The negative space and larger margins convey health + cleanliness.

Online Resources Corporation

Online Resources Corporation is a leading provider of online banking and full service bill pay solutions.

They came to us with the goal of providing creative campaign templates for individual companies to purchase and customize. This product allows small businesses an opportunity to obtain professional, high-level marketing materials at a fraction of the cost.

These campaigns include posters, print ads, banner ads, buckslips, + email headers

Cumming Management Company

Cumming Management Company is an international firm specializing in project management + cost consulting.

They wanted a lighter, fresher look. KGA was asked to re-brand the company using the SOQ brochure as a starting point. The task was to add light + color, but also retain the existing logo and fonts.

The project entailed a re-brand + full set of marketing materials, as well as brochures, email templates, trade show graphics, sell sheets, packaging, and brand guidelines.

Title Credit Finance

KGA / Frank Marketing & Advertising were tasked to design a jolly, non-denominational campaign for a multi-location holiday promotion.

The letter, envelope, + counter cards are templates were designed to feature variable data which housed each branch location.
